It will be a cool (and weird build). I luv the hard work and great, no SUPER, paint job. The length of the front section is just too extreme for me. Everything else is as good as I've seen, thanks!

I made some more progress here. Dave I puttied and sanded as smooth as a babys butt. Then I lain down the flat black and taped out the rear fenders as they are attached to the body. Then shot a metallic gold on the body. I need to touch up where the rear fenders meet the body and do some wet sanding then shoot the gloss finish.      |

Dude, awesome! What did You use to mask it with? Very Cool! Later Russ Thanks Russ, I painted the whole car Gloss White, then masked body with Tamiya Tape. I made some referance lines in pencil on the tape and cut with exacto blade. Then painted it with the Jeff Gordon Blue from Duplicolor, decanted from the can and airbrushed. The lines are a little ragged in the curves, but I am hoping to get some 1/16" pinstripe tape and help them out a little. More to come on this build in the next week or so, especially with the deadline looming over us quickly. |
