This is a WIP thread for a club theme of My Fathers Car. I chose to build my fathers 1953 Chevy
Here is a pic of the left side wheel and engine
Here is a pic of the right side engine detailing, yes you do see a dipstick
Hood Painted and polished, no clear coat yet.
Under hood padding, made from a shotgun cleaning patch painted dull black
Body painted base color, not polished yet, then need to paint top Cream color and BMF trim
Here is a pic of the interior tub
Sratchbuilt a suicide knob
And who could forget blue dot tails....The blue dots are nail jewels, found at a beauty supply store(while looking for a nail polish color) for $2 a pack
Hope to have finished by summers end...
