1950 Chevy pickup

As I was looking for a donor for the chopped resin piece I got this week. I found this built up Chevy pickup I wanted to rebuild. It was originally red. This was the original plan.



So I started working...


Added some balsa wood to the bed.


I did some sanding after the flat black. I had a similar idea as I had with the 50 Merc from not too long ago. You can see the original color.



Added a frame and rails to the now dirty bed.

Wanted some rust on the body but I think I got carried away...






Almost done. Need some bumpers and then off to some day shots.








Too much rust?

Thats pretty kewl, I see allot of these, all over the place and no 2 junkers ever look the same, nice work.
