It looks to be going together quite nicely Jeff Thank You for sharing What brand embossing power are you using? Where did You get it ? I a really interested in hearing about the nail polish, I have yet to try this as a model paint. Have You used it before? What do think of it as a paint ? later Russ

ty for looking, I purchased the embossing powder at pat catans, but micheals, or many craft stores carry it. The brand I purchased was the cheapest, as if it didn't work, would have not been out much$, but the brand is called "Whispers" I got the opaque white color, because you can paint it any color, it is a paper product. it costs less than $4 for a 1 ounce jar, and I have used it for 5 cars, and the jar is still 7/8 left, so it goes a long way. I "paint" on white glue, and sprinkle the powder on, shake off excess, and let dry, if you need to, you can touch up, same as before, then paint as you normally would.

I have not used this "glitter" type polish, but have used nail polish before, it is a lacquer product, so I thin it with lacquer thinner. I empty the bottle of polish into my airbrush bottle, then fill the nail bottle twice with thinner. Also, this is more transparent, so dust coats, repeat til you get the effect/coverage you want. I also shoot it over a white primer. Here is an example of a fade, the colors are Tangerine and Raspberry nail polishes. Both were purchased at a dollar store (you can find great colors cheap) There is no clear coat on this one, as I just used Novas #2 to polish it out nicely.

Wow, you are good with nail polish! I read on the web that in finer diameter air brushes the glitter or metal flake can clog 'em, so experiment and if you have a larger nozzle, it may be necessary. Good luck and thanx for sharing great fotos!!
