Some more pics. I filled in the rear wheel openings and applied the first coat of putty. Also a couple test shots of the stance and wheels. It could go a bit lower. Dave

Holy you know what, this is looking great Dave. IMO using the roof from a car never works when doing a P.U. conversion. You just proved that theory wrong. You really nailed the proper proportions on this one.

I have been puttying, sanding and priming this beast. I added rear fender molding and drip rails for the doors. A wet sand and then the base coat will be applied next. I am installing a ’57 Thunderbird engine and found some seats in the parts box for the interior. I also cut the windows down to fit. There will be a cover on the bed to hide the cutout for the rear end. I fabricated front inside wheel wells from styrene. They are pulled up in the pics. I need them in that position in order to fit in the interior tub. Once the finish clear is on I can put in the interior and put the wells down in position. Dave

Luv the concept, please don't take this the wrong way, I myself would of lost that bed lip that's down the side, an took the body line right to the fender, Just an idea before ya paint...
