My attention span sucks. I think it is about as long as that of my 3-year-old great-grandaughter. ;D Here I am with a group build going on on another forum, a new diorama in the plan drawing stage and a couple of other kits that need to be finished. Just to give me something to do I got a wild hair to do a chopped 32 Ford coupe as a ratrod. I picked up this kit at a swap meet a while back. The engine had been used so I got it dirt cheap. I decided to do a scale 4" chop and taped it off with Tamiya tape. Here it is after the rough cut. I sprayed the body with a rust color primer followed by a coat of LA Color nailpolish. I then started rubbing through the polish exposing the primer. Here is the first mock up. The front wheels and tires are from the kit. The rear wheels are from my parts box and the slicks are from the AMT racing tires pack. The body will be getting some more rubbing and then will be finished with a homemade rust and dirt finish. More to come unless my attention span fails me and I move on to something else. ;D ;D

My condolences on The Family loss. Your build is looking very nice.

I've made some progress on the ratrod since getting home from California Saturday night. Got the firewall installed. The front and rear window glass is in. The interior is installed, but still needs some tweaking. The undercarriage is virtually done. The 427 is nearly there. I'm hoping to finish this one in the next couple of days.
