Here is the chevy I built for the 100th anniversery build on plastic addicts. 1951 Chevy Fleetline. Top was chopped , Molding removed , hood pancaked , piker skirts , quad headlights from 52 Ford truck custom parts , kit custom grille added, Color is Duplicolor Green Metal Flake with Duplicolor crystal clear. Color sanded and buffed.. Engine is stock 6 cyl with 2 strombergs , injector scoop, fuel lines, throttle linkage , spark plug wires, . ect.. Hand made exhaust for split manifolds to side pipes. Frame is a combination of 2 chevies. Main is the 51 floorpan and outside frame rails.. Front suspension , center section of frame, rearend , is 1960 Impala.. Brake lines metal and rubber added. Tires and wheels from 60 Impala also.. Fun build to do. The top was the hardest because these are a dandy to chop right.. I actually changed the hood style 3 times to match the top..lol Enjoy the pics.....
