Hey folks. I'm hoping someone can help out. I got these resin wheels from the guy that created Resin Works a few years back. These are some of the first casts that were created for the Detail Master line. The new castings are not anywhere close to the detail that these have. Seems that detail got lost over time and mass production. These need some aluminum wheel sleeves so that they fit into any tires....and that's what I'm looking for. I'm willing to trade. Set of wheels for a set of sleeves. Or anyone know where I can find some? There's easy at least 20 sets of these and they look great on the cast. I bet they look even better once they are painted. Maybe someone is also interested in using them as master molds....

Thanks Bill. They look a bit wide. I'm going to have to measure when I get home next weekend. What's the diameter on those?

I have no idea... I've only seen them on the bay, and at the LHS.

Hey all. Just my opinion, but they look to be about 19-20" wheel rims. I'm no expert, but the Pegasus blanks I've seen are usually in that "big wheel" range.

I think you're right, Ed. When I get home this weekend, I'm going to have to visit Home Depot or Lowes to see if I find something...anything.

Pegasus makes a lo-pro deep wire wheel that uses a sleeve. I've found most 15 wheels fit with little or no sanding. A set of 4 runs about $14
