Dave, did you talk to the guy with the T-Bird? That's a gorgeous paintjob, it almost looks like a chrome baseunder that gold.

Thanks again for all your kind words. I finished the chassis and engine. I left the original 392 hemi....yes it has a hemi! I scratch built the distributor and wired it. One of these days I have to try my hand at plumbing the engine....if I can find free materials or very cheap ones. I didn't do any altering to the frame or suspension, it's all original except the sheet plastic over the rear end. I was going to make a bed interior but decided against it. Not a whole lot to show but I'm making progress. Whats left you ask? Well I have to clear coat the body, add BMF, make a headlight as I only can find one.....I'm getting old and feeble and keep losing parts. Somewhere in the basement there are ALL the parts I have dropped.....all I have to do is find that place! Then I have the final assembly and then I'm DONE!!! But I probably will forget something. Oh darn!!!!!!
I did a quick assembly of the chassis to the body and I swear everything fit before, but it doesn't fit now!!!
The engine sits up too high. I need to somehow lower it into the frame. even at the end of it all there may not be room for the chrome air filter.
There is no excuse for poor planning! Curse me!
Dave
