This Mercury was started in 1979 and it was my first real top-chop job. I didn't finish it until 1989, yeah 10 years!!!!

Really nice. Radical rear bumper extension looks like nothing I ever saw in models. Wish we could see interior, engine and trunk. Yeah, sometimes it takes a decade to fin........ish a model!

A really nice chop job, but what really interests me is the hood. Just how did you get the shape of the hood??
I don't have time today to comment on all of your posts, but want you to know I consider you a really talented builder; particularly with the restorations you have done.

I made a cut thru the hood and put in a piece of pie-shaped plastic card. Glued it togehter and puttied , sanded and painted the hood.
