I'm John Johnson out of Utah, known on the boards I participate on as JohnJ. About two and a half years ago I got tired of watching trains go in circles and came back to my roots in model cars. Met Bill over at the old Fast Eddy forum and we seemed to hit it off.
My main interest is in automotive related dioramas. I recently completed a 1930s Texaco Station and will post it today or tomorrow. Bill seemed to think you guys might enjoy it.
I am currently involved in the "move from hell". We sold our house in May and were to be moved on June 15. Here it is July 23, and we are still waiting for the buyers to close. Believe me the past few weeks have been a nightmare. The deal must close by 7/31 or it will be cancelled. Wish us luck.
Due to the move my hobby room is in boxes and there is no building going on here. I am working on the plans for my next diorama though. It is intended to be a copy of a gas station that existed in American Fork, Utah back in the 1930s. Hopefully I will be able to get going on it sometime in the next few weeks.
Looking forward to being an active member of this board.
John

Sorry to hear about your moving problems. Have your attorney put some pressure on those people.
Looking forward to seeing your dios.

Thanks for coming John, Does this look familiar to ya?Yep, that's where we met. For those of you who do not know John, his past endeavors also include Model Railroading. This breed of modeler can also be very creative, and artistic. John has built some fantastic structures, and it sounds like we're gonna be blessed with a look-see! We pretty much operate the same as other forums John, but with one added addition. Under Galleries, You'll find you own private gallery exclusively for your builds. You can still post anywhere you wish but this is solely yours! Really glad to see ya here my friend! Thank You! Bill

Welcome John. Glad to have on board. Sorry to hear of your buy/sell experience. I would think that even the realtor (yours) would be leaning on them , as they want their commission.
Stay strong!
