I recently placed a stick of solder inside my radiator hose and "preshaped" it to fit .. I cut the solder short enough to allow the hose ends to be fastened in place. stiff wire could be used for smaller scale ..  |

I use beading wire from Walmart to do the same thing, works very well also with plastic tubing and heating the plastic tube and bend without collapsing.
