I used what the company(place from which I bought from) said. Whiteout tire bleach, soaked it over night and washed it with soap and water later. Hope this helps? ;D Later Russ

I make resin castings all the time. All you really need is some mild dish soap and luke warm water. One or two drops of soap in a plastic bowl, (Never clean parts in an open sink!) and swirl them about a bit. Then rinse the parts and air dry. No matter what you do, don't forget the primer.

Believe it or not, the only mold release I use is rubber to rubber, when making a two part mold. Vaseline is a terrible mold release because it's way too thick. Pam can be used but very sparingly and will leave a residue. WD-40 can be used, but should only be used with platinum cure silicone. It has long term adverse effects on tin cure silicone.
If you need a mold release to pull parts you should switch to Smooth on silicone, or the company that supplies them. The silicone is self degassing and needs no release agent.
