Here is my build of Bill Elliott's Melling Ford Thunderbird. This was the car he drove when I first noticed him, before he was known as, "Awesome Bill from Dawsonville". This was before he won the championship, and before he set a record that still stands for the fastest lap in NASCAR Sprint Cup (then Winston Cup). The decals were old Slixx decals. They were in terrible shape and disintegrated once they hit the water, so some of these had to be re-done by yours truly. The "9" on the side of the car were a bit on the large side, but I worked with it and made them fit.
