Sorry, I have not been on here as of late. The cold weather here in Cleveland, played havoc on my furnace, which is no longer able to work. I cannot replace this at the time, so my wife and I have been using space heaters to warm the house. But then the temps dropped below the 0 degree mark and froze pipes. I was able to repair them, and restore water to the house.
What is going on with the voting here??
This is a little disturbing, especially to the few that completed. Sorry to rant, but please members, vote for the builds that were finished.

What is going on with the voting here?? This is a little disturbing, especially to the few that completed. Sorry to rant, but please members, vote for the builds that were finished. This was a real heart breaker... 3 entries, and only 1 on time vote. I don't mind at all seein a little rant, and trying to get the members involved. I only wish your name was on the list of voters. |

Bill, this was not meant to rant at you. Just trying to stir the pot, for the other members that show up, post and leave. Several people have been on here since this has been finished. But it seemed as they didn't care about this contest. But for those that did do their work, they should have had their work voted on. I do enjoy coming here, and wish more would. If I were to have a vote, or any say in this, the Woody is First, Vandel Second and mine was a third. I enjoy working on models and competing. I am certainly not one of the best builders, but seeing others works, inspires me, to improve so that I can be more competitive. The North Coast Automotive Modelers have several builders, that you see in the pages of the model mags, so I feel like I have to step up my game and build to their level. Entering models in contests, whether it be on-line or at shows, and having people approve, dis-like or just plain critique is rewarding and educational at the same time. I just want to try to keep this forum alive and well.

Your so called rant was constructive, and taken to be constructive. I applaud your action on this 110%. I was just a little dazed when I checked out the new votes, and your name was not there. All members have a vote, Contestants included. And they all count. If you click on the car of your choice in the list at the top, your vote will be cast. Thanks! Bill |
