Guthrie Laguna

Here's my interpretation of Janet Guthrie's Laguna. The kit was the AMT/Model King re-release and I used the Powerslide decals. It's pretty much all box-stock as I just quite wasn't in to doing alot of extra work on it. I got the window net crooked and didn't notice until after.

Nice clean work and excellent paint and decals. Some builders would forget or omit the "rookie stripes." Thanx for remembering one of the forgotten and unappreciated racers. Too many folks had either a financial stake in her publicity without concern for her or simply hated the publicity and outsider status she represented in those changing days. Only things I see odd are the body height (common in many many models from manufacturers) and the grille could use a thinned black paint "wash" to show open holes. THANX for a rare build I've not seen on any forums before!
