I’m building this one for the NNL East subtheme of station wagons. I started with the Ghostbusters Ecto-1 ’59 Caddy. I cut out about 1 3/16” from the body and put it back together. Actually I first cut out too much and had to put some back. After doing all this I realized that there is no engine and the hood is molded into the body. I guess I will have to open the hood and drop in an engine and some stuff under the hood. The interior and chassis will need some equal surgery to make them fit. I hope you like it so far. Dave Here it is glued and rough sanded. It is awaiting filler.

I know I havent posted in a while. I finally finished this one. I cut out the front hood and added a scratch built engine compartment. I installed a Caddy engine. I made the diamond pleat interior using styrofoam plates scored and painted. I added the wheels and painter on the white walls. Painted in Lime Ice. I tried my hand on the roof using a paper doily pattern. Thanks for looking and I hope you like it. Dave

Very good work! It was done so well it looks unaltered. Engine and its detailing makes it a winner. It's a shame fashion comes and goes. I bought a bunch of paper doilies and by the time I was ready to use them, that painting style was soooo yesterday! Thanks for a fine job!
