SMU's 2nd Anniversary is coming soon. I've been pretty busy lately, and it appears others here may be busy also. So wht I needto know from the members is do we want a 2nd Anniversary Contest that would end Oct. 31? And If so, What topics might we select from? Yur feedback here is very important, Please respond! Thank You! Bill

Seeing last year was a "Anything Ford" theme, how about a "Anything Chevy" theme. Start with a unbuilt kit, build it like ya want (using the same rules as last years contest).
A anniversary is a good thing to celebrate with a contest.
Just my 2.18756439 cents worth.

I would be interested in what the rules are(were). I searched the site, but did not find any rules. I am open to most anything. As long as I don't have to purchase a special kit, I have enough to build for a few years.

As long as I don't have to purchase a special kit, I have enough to build for a few years. I had very slim rules last year, The contest was Anything Ford. The rules... 1. Had to be a Ford. 2. Had to be a new build. Pretty simple.

I am doing a build, for another forum, but the rules are,new kit, kit wheels, kit engine, body can be modified, no photoetch. This is not a deep pockets type building, but more as to, techniques, and modifications. Must have photo of kit/contents, and photos while in progress, then 5 photos submitted for voting.

We could a pick up truck or like hotwheels suggested a Chevy or even a Revell, AMT, etc build off. Get more focused and maybe a '32 Ford build off, this could include 3 & 5 window coupes, roadsters, tudors, Vickys, pick ups, deliveries, etc. Just my 2 cents......

Maybe a certain era or a specific year like a 1969 model or 1964 one.
