Here's my '64 Mustang Pace Car. This kit was opened and missing a few pieces and the windshield was rather scratched. The door handles came from the spare parts bin and I had to make one of the arm rests. I added flocking for the carpeting, and I drilled out the air cleaner snorkel. I also added BMF and valve stems to the wheels. The decals were printed off-register, so I had to make my own based on pics of the originals. I got most of the fonts pretty close (note that they are different than the fonts that came in the kit). Other than those few changes, it is box-stock. Here she is: Here's the underside: Here is the interior: Here it is with the top up: Under the hood: and here's the parting shot: As always, comments and suggestions are welcome

Looks good to me. It's a little bland and I never considered it a "sports car," but it seems authentic. Did the pace car version have the little chrome trim I remember that was in front of the fake side scoop by the back wheel? Now I have to go looking for images...I'm not sure!

Thanks, guys.
The kit I had did not have the chrome pieces for the sides of the body in front of the back wheels. In all honesty, I forgot all about that piece. I guess I'll have to come back to this and scratch up some trim.
