NNL East next year if I read correctly is resin for the main category and vans as the secondary. I already have plans for a resin build or two. and am thinking of an idea for a van. Mind you this is a really, really, really rough edit, but I think you get the idea. Does it have potential or is it a stinker? Did anyone make a Lumina van model?

Not to add more work, but with a Camaro grille, a healthy sectioning would look excellent. Your idea is unique to me. Re: Luminas, only body I've seen would be from a NASCAR stocker, and that would be far from street looking.

It's already been sectioned about 8" in that edit.
I meant the Lumina Van, not the car.

Even though the scales and angles are off, I think I've cleaned the pic up enough to give a fairly accurate representation of idea I have in mind.

I really like it and I don't normally think much of vans.

This has potential!
Camaro rear lights?
You still have a regular van body......it needs the knife and some additional plastic.....
Maybe a top hinged side door instead if a slider.
Just my 2 cents.

Dave That would make it cooler for sure. Also maybe run the front air dam up and contour the front fender wells, Use small curved top mount side mirrors,( Like on the hot rods) Make the hood replicate the ss camaro hood and loose the wing windows and french the antenna... Just some more incite to think about... That is a super cool idea and a great concept build...

A BIG FAN OF VANS..THAT IS SICK !!! IN A GOOD WAY..NO DOUBT, IT HAS TO HAVE THE TOP CHOPPED..HAVE YOU TRIED THE '69 RS-SS HIDE-AWAY HEADLIGHTS IN IT ? WHATEVER YOU DO, I'M READY TO SEE IT ON "THE TO DONE" LIST...

Any Chevy Van is good !... personally I'd always invisioned a retro Corvair Pickup.. another option would be to use the last generation Camaro as well but the '69 grille looks promising with reduced diameter on the headlights.. as you said this is a rough edit ... I say go for it !! just my 2 cents ..

It looks like this is going to be a go. AMT Dirty Donny van and a Revell 69 Z-28 Camaro RS. First cuts. One side is roughed into place.
