Some more updates: I smoothed out the body and sprayed a silver metallic metalcote as the base. I hooded the headlights and cut up a caddy grill for the hole (grill not shown). It needed a Fire Dome hemi, blown of course. No interior shots yet. I almost have it built.   I painted it Lime Ice. I will be misting some more with the airbrush at some point. I scratch built the triangle part for the superchargers to mount to. I still need some hats for them. I made the belt out of masking tape and painted it black. I still need to adjust the body onto the chassis. I’m still finishing the interior and getting the body accessories together. I think I have a header design in mind. I hooded the headlights to give it a sleepy look....until the engine starts and kicks a$$! I hope you like it so far. All constructive criticism and suggestions welcome. Dave      |

I figured out a name for this V8 VW - I will call it OVERKILL I did some more work on the interior. I see I need to touch up the arm rest. There will be speakers where the rear seat should be. I used black sticky sided felt for the carpeting. Shifter and handbrake are from a '74 Vega. An altered '59 Corvette dash will be installed. Dave   |

It has been soooooo hot and humid in NJ that I can't do any painting. That's the hold up for now.
